The first vineyard was planted in 2003 at Urla Kocadağ; the production facility and a new vineyard opened in 2012 in Kuşçular village. The name comes from “us” (reason), the central idea of Anaxagoras, the philosopher born in Klazomenai.
Certified organic and deliberately small, with an annual output of 30,000 litres. Production uses a gravity-fed system and cold fermentation. Foça Karası, a native grape with a 2,600-year history in the region, is among the varieties they work with.
