The family’s viticulture reaches back to the 1890s; the winery itself was established in 1998 under Hamit Özcan, developed together with agricultural engineer Gaye Özcan, who studied oenology in the United States.
350 hectares of vineyards and 60 hectares of olive groves are worked. After trialling native varieties, the focus shifted to Southern Italian grapes. The gravity-fed system designed by architect Erbil Coşkuner, the wide glass façades over the Nif Valley and Turkey’s tallest all-glass staircase define the building. Annual output is 150,000 bottles across 15 labels.
