Kastro Tireli

Established in 2004 as a trial vineyard on Yunus Mermerci’s initiative, with the first harvest in 2010. It lies in Pınarcık village near Akhisar, roughly 100 km inland, at 200–280 metres.

The vineyard was set up with French viticultural consultants and the Italian oenologist Dr. Andrea Paoletti; farming is CERES-certified organic. Annual output is 70,000 bottles across more than eleven labels plus reserves. The estate traces back to Tirelizade İsmail Bahri Bey, a commander in the War of Independence, and later the Karaosmanoğlu family.
